Stoltmann Law Offices is investigating Alonza Barnett, a former Ameritas Investment Corporation broker in Greensboro, North Carolina. Mr. Barnett was recently sanctioned by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in March of this year after he failed to respond to a request for information. He was suspended from acting as a broker. He allegedly converted funds, breached fiduciary duty, committed fraud, failed to determine suitability and was misleading regarding the type of investment and violated North Carolina laws. These are all against securities rules and regulations and his former firm, Ameritas Investment Corp can be sued for losses. He has two customer disputes pending against him and is currently not registered within the industry.
