These stocks were removed from the exchanges on which they traded because they failed to comply with the listing requirements. The stocks oftentimes fail to meet exchanges minimum price requirements. For instance, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) requires that a company’s stock maintain an average closing price of $1.00 per share for a period of 30 consecutive trading days. It is the duty of a broker to do due diligence on the stocks he sells to see if the stock has a reasonable likelihood of success. If he does not, he or his brokerage firm may be responsible for investment losses. If you lost money with one of the above stocks, please call our securities law office in Chicago at 312-332-4200 to speak with an attorney. We may be able to help you bring a claim against a brokerage firm to recover investment losses.
