Raffa allegedly had his professional license permanently revoked by the New Hampshire Securities Bureau after he was accused of convincing a single mom to invest nearly her entire life savings into a bad investments. Raffa allegedly pitched the client the sale of stock in Starstream Entertainment Inc., who then invested a large portion of her IRA and life savings into the company. The company ended up having little to no revenue in actuality. The New Hampshire Securities Bureau ordered Raffa to pay restitution and penalties and permanently revoked his license. In May of 2016, Raffa was also indicted by a Massachusetts Federal Grand Jury for fraud for a pump-and-dump scheme. The fraud involved the sale of stock in another company which was inflated and then sold quickly. This is against securities laws.
