Former Pompano Beach, Florida-based Edward Jones broker, James Marino, was recently barred from the industry by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He allegedly accepted gifts of $20,500 and used a client’s credit card for his own benefit. These are against securities laws and internal firm rules. Edward Jones can be held liable for losses in the FINRA arbitration forum on a contingency fee basis.
