Stoltmann Law Offices is interested in hearing from investors who may have invested money with Tyler and Lawrence Olson. Tyler Olson was a registered salesperson with PrimeSolutions in Chicago, Illinois from September 2005 until December 2008 and from January 2011 until November 2015. He was also registered as an investment adviser with the same firm in from April 2013 until November 2015. Lawrence Olson, Tyler’s father, was registered as a PrimeSolutions investment adviser representative from April 2013 until November 2015 in Illinois. Because Lawrence was in a supervisory role, he had an obligation to enforce written supervisory procedures and ensure compliance with applicable securities laws, rules and regulations. According to the Notice of Hearing issued by the State of Illinois Secretary of State Securities Department, in eight customer transactions, suitability requirements were not met at the time the transactions were recommended and effected. For certain customers and transactions, suitability documentation was missing, incomplete, contradictory or contained errors. Also according to the Notice, many of the offerings were private placements. These are all against securities rules and regulations.
