According to a recent Letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent (AWC) with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Neil Palazzo, a former registered broker with David Lerner Associates, exercised discretion without written authority in a customer account. This was in regard to the sale and purchase of shares of mutual funds. Palazzo failed to obtain written authorization from the customer for this, and this is against securities rules and regulations. For this, he was fined $5,000 and suspended from associating with any FINRA member firm for 10 business days. Palazzo was previously registered with David Lerner Associates in Syosset, New York from June 2000 until August 2015 and is currently registered with Ameriprise Financial Services in Mitchel Field, New York and has been since August 2015. He has one customer dispute against him. Please call our securities law offices based in Chicago, Illinois if you have suffered losses with Mr. Palazzo. We may be able to help you recover those losses on a contingency fee basis. 312-332-4200.
