Plemenos was accused of “executing discretionary transactions in the accounts of customers without written authorization from the customers and without having the accounts approved as discretionary accounts by his member firm,” allegations of “conduct involving discretion in non-discretionary customer accounts,” engaging in excessive trading, executing unauthorized trades, making unsuitable recommendations and charging excessive fees, among other things. These are all violations of securities laws and regulations.

Mr. Plemenos was registered with Morgan Stanley in Purchase, New York, Wells Fargo in Rockaway, New Jersey, and Merrill Lynch in Sparta, New Jersey. He is currently registered with Ameriprise Financial in Parsippany, New Jersey and has been since July 2015. He has two customer disputes against him, according to his online FINRA BrokerCheck report.
