
Stoltmann Law Offices is investigating Richard Demetriou, a broker with Titan Securities in Dallas, Texas. The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) alleged that Demetriou engaged in an undisclosed outside business activity when he was involved in selling investments in “RBCP,” a Mississippi company involved in real estate investments. FINRA also alleged that Demetriou made misrepresentations about the risks of RBCP. FINRA also brought a complaint against Brad C. Brooks and Titan Securities, for failing to properly supervise Demetriou. Brooks is the President and CCO of Titan. Brokerage firms such as Titan Securities have an obligation to reasonably supervise their registered representatives. If they do not, they can be held responsible for investment losses. According to his online FINRA BrokerCheck report, Demetriou was registered with NML Equity Services, Phoenix Financial Corp, Marion Bass Securities Corp, Monarch Securities, Derand/Pennington/Bass Inc., IFG Network Securities and Private Consulting Group. He is currently registered with Titan Securities in Dallas, Texas and has been since April 2009. He has two customer disputes against him.
