
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) recently barred Robert Marrone from the industry after entering into a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent (AWC) and being discharged from Morgan Stanley. He was accused of executing unauthorized trades and exercising unauthorized discretion in customer accounts. Marrone was registered with Gruntal & Co. in New York, New York from May 2001 until May 2002, Ryan Beck & Co. in Fort Lee, New Jersey from April 2002 until July 2006, PNC Investments in Bergenfield, New Jersey from July 2006 until August 2006, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company in Fort Lee from July 2007 until June 2008, and Morgan Stanley in Pearl River, New York from June 2008 until July 2014. He is not licensed and has been permanently barred from the industry.
