The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) recently fined Santander Securities $175,000 for allegedly selling municipal bonds to customer at unfair and reasonable prices. This occurred from July 2013 until September 2013. The firm was also ordered to pay restitution to the affected customers in the amount of $62,807 plus interest.
