Stoltmann Law Offices is investigating Linda M. MacGregor, a former registered representative with Morgan Stanley. MacGregor recently entered into a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent (AWC) with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). She was accused of posing as a firm customer and sending emails requesting two wire transfers totaling $29,000 from the customer’s account to two third-party bank accounts. She then claimed that she had received authorization from the customer to do so, when, in fact, she did not. This is against securities rules and regulations. For this, she was suspended from the industry for 30 days and fined $5,000.

Linda M. MacGregor was registered with Morgan Stanley in Voorhees, New Jersey from October 2014 until November 2014. She is not currently licensed within the industry, according to her FINRA BrokerCheck report. If you invested and lost money with Linda MacGregor, please call our securities law firm at 312-332-4200 to speak to an attorney about possibly bringing a claim against her former firm, Morgan Stanley, for failing to reasonably supervise her. They can be held liable for investment losses. The call is free with no obligation. We take cases on a contingency fee basis.
