Stoltmann Law Offices is investigating Justin Amaral, a former advisor with Morgan Stanley. He was fired from Morgan Stanley after he allegedly became an executor and beneficiary in a client’s estate and that he used discretionary authority in several client accounts. This is against securities rules and regulations. Amaral was registered with Morgan Stanley in Boston, Massachusetts from September 2001 until January 2007, Citigroup Global Markets in Boston from January 2007 until June 2009 and Morgan Stanley in Boston from June 2009 until May 2014. He has two customer disputes against him, both of which are currently pending. He is not licensed and has been permanently barred from the industry. Morgan Stanley has an obligation and responsibility to make sure their brokers recommend suitable investment recommendations to clients. If they do not, the firm itself can be held liable for client financial losses.
