Stoltmann Law Offices is investigating Walter Paul Priebe, who entered into a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent (AWC) with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). According to his AWC, while associated with Investacorp Inc., Priebe engaged in outside business activities in which he acted as a fiduciary for various trusts without providing notice to Investacorp. Between 2001 and 2012, on five separate occasions, Priebe served as trustee and attorney-in-fact for multiple trusts. He earned anywhere from $3,000 to $20,200 in compensations for his actions. He also falsely stated the transactions on his member firms’ questionnaires. For these transgressions, he was suspended from the industry for six months and fined $25,000.

If you invested money with Walter Paul Priebe, you may be entitled to recover some or all of it by suing Investacorp in the FINRA arbitration forum. Investacorp had a duty to properly supervise him while he was employed there, and because they did not, can be held liable for financial losses.
